Responded promptly to the job after I posted it on RP. Good communication throughout. Battled through the weather to get to me. Took some pictures of the problem and then fixed the issue the same day. Also repaired an issue with our windows. Sent me pictures of the completed work and provided 5 year guarantee on the invoice.

Updated review for 2024: Hired Mark to plaster my hallway and stairs. The stairs and ceiling are okay but the hallway is shoddy workmanship which is uneven and has trowel marks in it. Mark has unfotuntely refused to come back and told me I am just 'making a fuss'. I feel like he got his money so, now isn't interested in doing the decent thing - shame on you Mark. DO NOT HIRE IF YOU WANT A SMOOTH FINISH!

He made a very challenging job look easy and did some extra things for me that weren’t included in the quote, without charging extra. Sloppy job. I wouldn’t recommend this trader as he took the complete money agreed and didn’t complete job uncut bush in the garden. The reason for the was his imaginary wasp nest, which he doesn’t want to come inspect or show. Because he wants more money for further visits. Very unprofessional. I'd been trying for well over a year to get someone to fix my solar panel array by removing a broken panel, and either nobody was interested in repair jobs and ghosted me, or they said expensive scaffolding would be needed. I had new carpets fitted & needed 6 doors shaving because they weren't shutting properly any more. Dale did an excellent job & they are now all closing fine. It was actually quite a tricky task because most of them were heavy fire doors & 2 of them required re-hanging but Dale made short work of it & his communication was really good throughout & he also tidied up after himself. I would highly recommend Dale’s services & would happily employ him again.
