SMK & Son responded to my call for a badly leaking roof, immediately. It turned out to be very serious and in the end they replaced the whole roof in awful weather. They organised everything very professionally. Cannot fault them. HIGHLY recommended. Do not hesitate to use them.

I’ve been given 512 words to review Kyle and his team and only need one- AMAZING. However, I did warn Kyle, that I had so much to say that 512 might not be enough- I will try to keep it short and to the point! I have never met someone who is so enthusiastic and passionate about what they do. If his motto should be anything it should be ‘we can do that’ and he does it BRILLIANTLY. Nice guy. However he came, he started the job, he cleared off and left me having to find someone else to complete. Fortunately he didn't charge me so hence the satisfactory score for "Value". However I'd happily have paid him the full cost if he'd done the job he agreed to.

Thomas was very polite, straightforward and clear about what he was going to do. He let me know how he was going to do the job and when. I would definitely ask him to do further jobs for me in the future.

Matthew overcharged for materials. He told me he paid £40 at Screwfix for the spikes. I was shocked and asked for a copy of the receipt but he didn't provide it. I did pay him in cash for the work then checked the price at Screwfix. The cost is £29.99 not £40. As a result, I cannot recommend him.

Some of the work was good like the trimming of the shrub and bushes. The weeding was hopeless as they have not been pulled up by the roots and some of it was not touched at all. Some of my plants were trampled on and the rose stems forcefully pushed through the obelisk were broken in their hurry to finish by five. I don't think they had any intention of returning as I was not pleased with their weeding work which was the main aspect of their work_ to get the ground ready for planting. The work has been left

Have asked them to return to correct their mistakes. Which starting from January 2017. They still have not corrected the problems. Not after returning 3 times, The date now is May 2017.

Paul has been a fabulous help to both us and my mum’s house/ garden. He has listened to our requirements, offered sound advice and always highlighted cost effective options. He has undertaken cement work, fencing, power washing, garden maintenance at all levels plus many other jobs to secure ‘winterise’ our homes and gardens. He supplies the correct equipment to get the jobs done on time and within a sensible budget. No hesitation in recommending him.

No receipt and no work guarantee were provided as was promised when hired for the job. Called many times and every time give a different excuse. This makes me question the roof work they have done.

Good communication, turned up on time. Fitting was atrocious - five hours fitting a stair carpet, which was left with holes, not stretched or properly attached. He didn't know how to fit turns or curves. Our woodwork was damaged badly with his knife. When I politely pointed these things out, he collected his tools and left without taking payment and said that he "hadn't wanted to do the job anyway" despite the fact he viewed before and quoted. Carpet may have to be replaced. Very stressful/awkward.

I had to contact this tradesman four times to arrange cutting, each time he gave me a new date and each time he failed to show as it stands my lawn still hasn't been cut! Not impressed at all!
