John was prepared to spend time to assess our problem to determine steps and solutions to this modest problem but one which needed to be addressed. We discussed the best way forward before agreeing a price for the job. John comes across as a friendly, knowledgeable and experienced joiner/carpenter who we found to be meticulous about the quality of his work. I have no doubt that we shall call upon John for any further joinery jobs.

          Bespoke Furniture

Quality of finish on woodwork was excellent but communication poor and the job took over 1 month (despite predicting less than 2 weeks). Also caused considerable paint damage and had to change the plan due to original plans not proving strong enough. Value for money okay. For custom made furniture, I'd highly recommend Norfolk and Good. But for work taking place in the home I'd not.

            Mr Ruddock

          • TRADESPERSON, 8/10/2016 10:41

The man who sold me the wall brackets, miss lead me, about their strength. I was forced to re design the job at the last minuite, wich caused the delay. I explained the problem to Mr Ruddock at the time. Mr Ruddock had had his walls decorated, before the very thick and heavy shelves were fitted, some damage to his emulsion was inevitable.

Updated: had been through three months of disruptive work and was desperate for it to be finished. It left me frustrated with delays but the work quality is fantastic and in hindsight I'd certainly work with John again.
