Pleasant,polite,reliable & businesslike, Johnathan came over to see what was needed & gave a verbal quote which was quickly followed by a written one including date & time. He arrived promptly & worked quickly & efficiently. A joiner by trade, he made a good job of repairing the gate but wasn't afraid of working as a handyman carrying heavy things up from the cellar to the shed & cleaning down the rafters & walls thoroughly. Used GR building to re slate my roof. after 3 weeks 2 slates came off. Repeatedly rang and left messages and he finally came back to sort it out after not appearing the first date given. 3 more slates have just come off. Even taking into account the strong winds I find it unacceptable that this can happen. I will not be asking him it sort it this time as I have no confidence he will do the job correctly and have made alternative arrangements.

Greg is a pleasant and well mannered electrician. He completed a rewire of our house to bring it up to standard. We paid in full, on basis that he would return to complete work and rectify faults. Left several messages and gave several months (almost a year) to respond by phone or email. No response so we got a reputable electrician to inspect, and he found several faults with work which is still not finished. Considerable extra cost now to correct. Happy to provide evidence to support this review.
I have been in the trade for 30 years and have carried out a huge number of successful renovations from full house conversions to bathrooms, wetrooms, and ensuites. I have worked for years with a number of different experienced tradesmen and can complete any renovation job in a timely managed manner. I have a wealth of experience in hydrated screed and water underfloor heating systems, unfortunately, I see so many people getting this expensive process wrong.
