George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Tom was not hired on this occasion for my posted job. I tried to remove/close the job post, but a glitch means I can not do so. I can only place a rating. If I had not found a tradesman with immediate availability, it may well have worked out differently.

Hi I’m Joe of JAS Property Maintenance and also JSB Bespoke metal and woodwork. I have recently gone back to working on my own but I have been in the building trade since I was young working with family members then to college to pass my brickwork picked up a lot along the way working with many trades which I find makes me unique as I can come in and do most things you may need. This guy did not deliver my job and collected deposit (half of the job quote - £650). We have been on it since October now he is telling me the supplier are the ones with the issue. He never calls or gives update on the job. He gives date he will deliver the job then I don’t hear anything until I send a what’s app message. The last time he was telling me nothing be law states a refund on the receipt and that whatever the suppliers come back with is what he will refund in 10 days. Please beware people.
Turned out the tradesman lived round the corner from us so we now know a good local joiner. He was promt with appointments, good efficent worker and friendly. All in all a good person to know for future jobs.
