We posted looking for a new fitter to try and rectify as many mistakes as possible. Alan used all his skill and experience to steadily transform the ruined kitchen into exactly what we had envisaged. David and his father went over and above the remit of the job, which was painting the exterior of my home, by doing numerous repairs which became apparent as they were working. This included repairing guttering, fascias, replacing a down-pipe and repairing the awning over my front door. All the painting work was done extremely professionally and looks fantastic. Carl was great, very friendly and helpful and an excellent tradesman, would definitely recommend.
The work was done well and he even picked up a few things from B&Q for me. Unfortunately when he plumbed in the sink he plumbed the the hot water to the cold tap and vice versa. Also, he left a saw mark in my Ercol kitchen table with a bit of his blood which he never told me about. But then neither did I. All things considered I would hire the man again and have no issue recommending him for other jobs.

We were happy with the kitchen and work (apart from late start and finish / lack of communication), but the kitchen has been in for less than a year and the new floor that was laid is splitting. The underlay wasn’t installed correctly so the joints on the vinyl tiles have split. We’re going to have to have it all removed and done again, properly. Very disappointing.
