George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. Initial work was completed quickly and efficiently. After 3 months the flooring was starting to lift and the edging was coming away. I contacted him to get this sorted. First time he said he had Covid and had to reschedule. The second time he didn't show and blamed me for it. The third time he didn't bother showing at all and didn't let me know.

Unfortunately this job seemed to be beyond Jay's ability and we had to stop it part way through and find someone else to finish it. On the positive side Jay recognised this and was very apologetic and was certainly not trying to rip us off. But I cannot recommend him for this type of job (replacing existing front door and frame with new frame and door).

Do not use this trader. I have used Wayne in the past and he completed the job as quoted. Re-booked again this Easter to supply and fit carpet. He took the cash (over £1000) and we have been unable to contact him since. Currently going through small claims to try and get our money back.
