The plumber sent (Tommy) was excellent but this system is double dipping. You already pay Rated People who are supposed to find tradesmen. You then also pay plumbernow to find the tradesman. So the guy that does the work receives a fraction of what you pay. Rated people should NOT be letting similar "job finding" firms to be on site. Essentially requiring Joe public to pay two finder fees.
We carry out all aspects of joinery work plumbing and gas. We also do fencing and decking and ground works.
I highly recommend BDS Contracts. David was very understanding when I had to cancel last minute. When I was finally able to confirm a date , I also changed the works needed a few times. This job involved repairing a broken waste pipeline 6 feet below a manhole cover and carrying out a CCTV survey. Alastair fitted me in quickly and he completed the job very efficiently. He even offered to come round a few days later to check that all was well! The cost of the work was very competitive and I would definitely use Alastair again.

I have been self- employed since 2009. I mostly do whole bathroom design and refurbishments. I also have a plasterer and electrician available to help complete any jobs. I do maintenance on all pipe work apart from gas pipes as am not gas safe registered.

This fellow is not a serious worker to engage with. He accepted a job on Friday 25-Oct-2024, we agreed on the price, he said will do the job on Sunday 27-Oct-2024, he didn't turn up as ageed, he rescheduled for Monday, he turn up and said he will do the job on Tuesday. On Tuesday he sent text saying he cannot do the job because he is busy. He wasted my time, don't be his next victim.

James got in touch re the problem in our bathroom. Came to house and looked at job. Quickly gave a reaonable quote which we were happy to accept. Carried out the work to a very high standard. We even had a problem with the power shower which James very quickly resolved and fitted new shower. Excellent at keeping us updated of what was happening. Turned up when he said he would.
