Tom came to skim my son's ceiling but because it had old artex and very uneven he decided to put a false ceiling in, board that and then skim it. At MCR pointing we treat every job as it’s our own property. With 20 years of experience and extensive knowledge on various mortars and pointing methods. When the mortar becomes deteriorated it is necessary for the building to be re pointed. We grind the old mortar out using a 5 inch grinder complete with a diamond disk to ensure clean cut to top and bottom of the joint. Then we point the brickwork/stone using either sand and cement or a lime mortar, with different finishes to suite the client.
Arrived early and completed the job quickly and without any issues, tidied site before leaving, a job well done!
