Experienced builder NEW TO RATED PEOPLE ???? Hi everyone. I’m Mitch, I’ve been in the trade since leaving school. I am a general builder that specialises in timber work. I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. Sorin did my first job on time but for my next job, he started it near Christmas but hasn’t returned since to complete it. Initially he said that he will come back and finish it but now he has disappeared. I will avoid him for future jobs

Simon and his team fitted laminate cladding on my two flights of stairs and sorted out the unfinished landing at the same time. It looks 300% better! There was a small problem which he returned repeatedly to fix. The only thing I would say is make sure the project is clearly explained to you. I hadn't understood exactly how stair cladding works, and so the result wasn't quite how I imagined it. But I love it now, and the work has been admired by other tradesmen who've seen it.

I’ve had to change this rating due to rating too prematurely initially. After fitting our laminate flooring, we have had nothing but issues with slats coming up, nails too long out of the skirting and the door trim not being secure. Although both came out once and glued the LVT down in places we are finding more come up. My husband is now going to have to glue them all down after paying over 1k for supply and fit or alternatively have it taken out and redone.
