George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Every aspect of construction is only as strong as it weakest link so we don't just concentrate on leaving a nice finish. You want that look to endure so we don't cut corners behind the scenes. Everything we do is constructed in accordance with industry standards norms. So our extensions get nice deep footings, So do garden walls. Our driveways are always excavated to the right depth, and the sub base constructed in graded road stone, not cheaper sub base materials because they are not as good. We never use a nail where a bolt or screw will do better, because it lasts longer that way! With 30 years in the trade behind me we have the experience, knowledge, and contacts to get you the best materials and reasonable prices. So whilst quality work has a cost to it, it need not be exorbitant, nor out of your reach! With us you are sure of the right advice, at a reasonable price.

Attended promptly but did not conplete all the work I asked for. Just changed a fuse and replaced a light switch. When I asked him to return to complete the work he was very reluctant to do so.

Shortly after finishing our renovation the floor began to lift, after a 2-year battle and almost court they admitted it was a fitting fault. Not ideal for a 12k job. Now our sink has fallen in, turns out he has used the world's smallest bit of wood and some sealant to fix it to the underside of our granite worktops rather than correctly fitting it using the fixings on the actual sink. Add to this, gaps between drawers and misaligned cupboards and you get the idea.

This tiler completed most of the work but failed to turn up to finish the bathroom despite being paid, obviously in retrospect I should not have paid until completion. He does not answer phone or text messages. His colleague did laminate flooring and after they had gone my builder pointed out a lot of bad workmanship.
