George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Tom was not hired on this occasion for my posted job. I tried to remove/close the job post, but a glitch means I can not do so. I can only place a rating. It would be unfair to rate Tom as anything less than 5 stars as he did communicate a quote but wanted 50% up front. If I had not found a tradesman with immediate availability, it may well have worked out differently.

Needed my old slab and tarmac driveway replacing. Put out a job request and Steve at midland construction came to quote. Decided his was the best company to do the job and he knew what I wanted. The work was carried out over 4 days,his two men worked very hard removing and preparing for the pour of concrete, which was carried out over two days,they worked tidily and finished the job on time,very pleased with the work carried out.

We were looking for someone to put in a partition wall and Eamon contacted us. From the very beginning Eamon was very professional. He provided a quote very quickly and everything was very clear. His quote was very competitive and reasonable. On the first day Eamon and his colleague arrived promptly and worked quickly and efficiently. They replied quickly, came when said and sent me a written quote by email. They came on the day they said they would and worked into the evening with flood lights. They came back next day to clean up. I have however discovered they took a panel off our Decking and did not put it back. I have messaged them but no reply. So five stars for quote and timing. I would give less for the after service. We will however be getting them back later in the year for a shed/garden house construction.

Very pleased with the work that CJS did. Worked very hard for 3 days solid and solved a few issues on day one with no fuss. Very professional and nice guys. Would recommend anyone to hire these guys.

General building work, but especially plastering, tiling, joinery etc
Paul and Dave did a great job. My garden was in such a mess!! Weeding was done, ivy growing around walls cut back. Worst job of all was the roots of a conifer growing under slabs. They lifted up slabs digging up and cutting back heavy roots. Slabs, including 3 further slabs were relaid. Added to that lawns were neatly cut. They tidied up after work was completed. Excellent work done in a professional way. 11/10 I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done
