Very reliable and efficient service. They gave valuable advise beforehand which not only improved the design but saved us money. I would highly recommend using this company. Work was carried out to a high standard with minimal mess and disruption all debris was cleared straightaway. Very friendly polite and experienced workers certainly a company to use again.

First impressions and website are impressive, they started well and gained our trust, we paid them two stage payments and an additional payment when they requested it. What has been built is not to drawing specification and is poor quality workmanship. Despite a clear written contract, they have failed to complete the job, cleared our site of all tools and left us in a mess, incomplete, and currently 4 months behind schedule. I hope they will return to finish one day soon.

  Thankfully there are two sides to a story. When a customer changes the drawings and specs halfway through the job, and refuses to accept additional costs, this is the result. All work undertaken by IDM is as per legal contract and all work is signed off at various stages of payment agreed by customer and company. We now use a scheme called Bond Pay that eliminates the risk of a customer not having the funds to complete their project. Sadly all too little too late for ourselves in this instance.

  Not true - Drawings and specs all approved by both building control and planning, any changes would need a new application. Only change in building of whole house was route of 1 drainage pipe moved slightly (start and end points remain fixed). No additional costs were ever mentioned, probably because they walked off site before they done the drainage. No stages of completed works have ever been signed off. Six months have now passed and it is clear that IDM are not going to complete our legal contract.

  Further inspection has now revealed more problems with what little work was done before they walked away, some more of the walls need demolishing and rebuilding as window openings are in the wrong place, and the wall ties are either missing or been cut! Please heed our warnings, if we help save 1 person from these bodge it builders this will be good. If you are already stuck with them, NEVER give them cash, use a credit card or something with protection.

  At no point have IDM refused to return to site to continue work. Drainage route have been altered by the customer mid build, preventing work to progress. Only £15k of the near £20k contract value has been paid, with an estimate of only 8 day’s work left!! Every attempt is being made by the customer to prevent IDM from completing including denying access to site. If any builders are crazy enough to undertake work, I suggest getting the money paid to a 3rd party upfront

  BUILDERS BEWARE. At no point have IDM refused to return to site to continue work. Drainage route have been altered by the customer mid build, preventing work to progress.   True Facts:- As the customer I want the works done, I would not put any obstacles in the way, I've been chasing IDM since they didn’t turn up one day. IDM have not done any works for 6 months, and refuse to complete as per contract. These messages are beginning to show IDM's true colors, they are not nice people, can be very convincing, but then the best are! Be VERY careful, if you even consider using them. I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone. It's your choice! Worth risking your savings?

from start to finish ,I was impressed with these workman, they were clean and tidy no mess ,and transformed the back of my house,put special glass in to keep my dogs cool ,were polite and curtious ,and I can not wait to save up enough for them to start on the front, I would not use anyone else now,after having a bad time with another firm,these guys certainly made up for it ,nothing was too much trouble
