Absolutely amazing service from Steve and all of his lads at SB Construction. Communication has been perfect since day 1 and Steve has kept me informed of everything that is happening day by day. Extra jobs have been done for me as they’ve popped up along the way and I’m already getting him booked in for more work. Couldn’t recommend enough.

  Have been waiting about 7 months for someone to come back and finish some issues so the build can be signed off by building control but most of my messages are ignored or no one shows up when Steve say’s they will be here- no phonecalls, texts or anything. So we’re left with an amazing build but now having to find someone else to finish the fence, gate, downpipes etc even though the initial invoice stated that the build would be completed to sign off standards. Been left really upset and disappointed

Absolutely brilliant service from SB construction. Replaced the pebbledash render on two sides of our house, removed and replaced many weathered bricks and replaced the mock tudor panels.. A very well coordinated team from scaffolders to the brickies and the rendering. Discovered rotten wooden lintels which were swiftly replaced without fuss and pointed chimney. Very punctual and professional.

  Inconsistent, unreliable, uncommunicative and terrible accuracy of work. A relatively small job to build a garden workshop started in July, and only half complete by mid October with nil prospect of any completion date. Money paid, work not delivered. No timescales kept to. Loads of excuses Extremely disappointed as a previous job was well executed but not to be trusted for consistency. I have given Steve multiple opportunities to correct mistakes, update on programme, provide schedules -unacceptable!

Steve and his team were exceptional. We had a single storey extension with another wall taken down. Steve was transparent with costing, gave a great quote but was keen to ensure every penny had been accounted for to avoid any unexpected costs along the way. They keep the work area as tidy as they can and always have a tidy before leaving for the day. The extension looks brilliant and we will definitely be booking again
