I had a professional experience from the first point of contact to the finish of the job. Jay & Jordan are both very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and stick to the agreement. It was a straight forward job, and that's exactly how they handled it. No complications. Handed over a clean and tidy site. Have asked them to quote for another job. Stanley & his team originally came on board to build us a new rear extension which would house our kitchen as well as fit a new bathroom but as the project developed it ended up being near enough an entire house renovation and we're thrilled with the results. We still have work we would like to do to the outside of the house as well as a loft conversion and when we have enough money to take on those projects, we would definitely re-hire Stanley and his team. Marius was outstanding in every respect. We recently bought a house that had engineered oak wood flooring that has been stained in a dark tone. Marius sanded back the floor to the original oak finish across the whole of the downstairs. It completely transformed the floor, was meticulously sanded and beautifully finished. Marius was thorough, professional and an expert at his trade. He was easy, pleasant to have around and explained the whole process from the start. He delivered on time and was great value.

Etmond and the team arrived early and quickly got to it and were able to complete our work in a single day which was a good result. We had landing floorboards and some steps on the stairs replaced which couldn’t be seen until the carpets were taken up, so Etmond and the team had to figure a few things out after they began and their experience was very useful in that situation. The work was done to a high standard and they left the flat very clean after cleaning up once the work was complete.

Fedor and his team are polite, hard-working and extremely talented. It was a complicated job and Fedor handled it brilliantly. Pete was really responsive and helpful whilst we were choosing our worktops, sink, taps and breakfast bar pole. For the fitting, he was punctual, friendly, polite and knowledgeable. He removed the old worktops very cleanly and fitted the above to a very high standard, ensuring we were happy with every decision. He tidied up well. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Excellent work! I would give 10 stars if I could. This is a delayed review because when dealing with dampness, it is irrelevant what the work looks like straight after. Much better to look 6 months down the line. I can confidently say this father/ son team are way better than any 'damp specialist' I hired. Just look online, do your own research to find out what the problem is, then get these guys to do the work. You will not be disappointed. Went over and above what was required. Very happy - thanks! :)

I used AGL to decorate my 5 bedroom house in W12 in April 2014. The standard of the work was excellent. They are experienced and were able to come up with practical solutions to issues that arose. They were able to carry out addition electrical and plumbing work. Their quote was competitive and transparent. They repsonded promptly to calls and emails. AGL were trustworthy and reliable and I have since made several recommendations to friends. I would definitely use them again.

They replaced a floorboard for me. They arrived when they said and the job was done quickly. They also cleaned and tidied up after the job was completed.

They were very dodgy and unreliable. They took all the agreed money but never came back to finish the job. I was left without a kitchen, cooking utilises and drinking water for two whole months as no other builders were willing to pick up the mess they left behind. The garden was a complete mess with concrete and heavy building rumble. I strongly advise people to be wary of hiring them.

I had a similar experience to the reviewer who posted a one-star rating. Rahman was friendly and hardworking during the job, but then proved to be completely unreliable. Over several months, he repeatedly promised to remove a large amount of timber left behind in my garden after the job, but simply failed to turn up. As I do not own a car, I now will need to pay someone to do it
