ended up putting a completely wrong colour of silicon in my bedroom which completely spoilt the look despite him saying it gives a different kind of look. I was completely new to doing a house, so didn’t know what will work and what won’t. Ignoring the choice of colour part, there were smudges of silicon at many places and i wouldn’t call it a neat job per my standards. But each one could have different standards.

Excellent work! I would give 10 stars if I could. This is a delayed review because when dealing with dampness, it is irrelevant what the work looks like straight after. Much better to look 6 months down the line. I can confidently say this father/ son team are way better than any 'damp specialist' I hired. Just look online, do your own research to find out what the problem is, then get these guys to do the work. You will not be disappointed. Went over and above what was required. S&D fixed our kitchen ceiling after a leak. Nicholas also painted the ceiling, painted our living room ceiling and installed tiles in our kitchen. All done in 2 days. Nicholas worked very hard and his work is exceptional. The tiles were quite difficult to work with but he did them beautifully. Would definitely recommend and will be using him again
