Required a bit of an awkward shaped worktop to be installed.Two successive joiners from Rated People agreed to conduct the works but both frequently kept cancelling,turning up late and not responding to calls/texts. I went back to the website a third time and found Alasdair who agreed to the job.Unlike the other two companies,he turned on time and didn't let me down. I'm extremely happy with the standard of workmanship,especially as the job was quite complex and challenging. I would certainly recommend him

The job was a complete en-suite shower room renovation. The existing fixtures and fittings were removed and a complete new suite installed. This requires alterations to one of the walls to increase the size of the room, and plasterwork in the en-suite and adjoining room. The wall and floor were completely tiled and new lighting, shower, basin and WC were fitted. The reason that Wayne got the job was that he appeared very professional from the outset. He arrived right on time, was knowledgeable, willing to provide ideas and provided a detailed written quote and work schedule. He allowed me the option of choosing my own materials, which he would then purchase for me to save me any hassle. He dealt with the suppliers and took delivery of the goods. One other confidence booster is the fact that he didn't take a penny until the job was complete and I was completely satisfied. Once the job began, minor changes to the specification weren't a problem. Wayne accepted changes, and provided verbal cost updates if the change had a cost impact. I would have to say that he is more than fair in terms of the additional cost of his labour and didn't take a mark-up on materials. Throughout the job he was very punctual, and his work ethic was exceptional. He obviously takes great pride in what he does, and it shows in the finished product. I would certainly recommend Wayne.

The job was carried out in a highly professional manner from start to finish - from the first visit, to the very reasonable estimate speedily delivered, through to completion on the agreed date. These people are absolutely first class! They are extremely courteious and helpful, and we would definitely use them again, and recommend them to anyone.

Jim was fantastic - fitted 3 internal doors for us with no nonsense. Even when one door proved difficult (leading to the job taking longer than he thought and eating into his weekend) he took great care with his work and didn't finish until he was completely happy with it. Cheerful too, and likes a wee blether! Would hire him again in a heartbeat ????

I am happy with John's services and I think, his workers ( I had the comfort of two teams working tirelessly) did excellent job, all at competitive price. 7 windows + patio door + front door within a day + few hours of the next. The leading time to source the materials and the job completion was quick and all seem sourced locally. The communication with John and his on-site supervisor was excellent . Entire work carried out as promised with no issues.

We needed one of our empty properties system drained whilst it remains emptied, and it was completed the same day. Great job done and would highly recommend! We have other works to be completed in the future and we will most definitely be a returning customer.

The guys were quick to remove the old floor and skirtings. The flooring was laid quickly and efficiently, and the effect was immaculate. I would definitely recommend them.

Keiran did that rare thing of turning up exactly when he said he would. Tidy and friendly, and reasonably priced. He removed a glass pane from door and fitted wooden replacement before installing cat flap - looks smart and exactly what I wanted; he also installed MDF shelves in a walk in cupboard - not exactly complex, but affordable and exactly what I needed.
