****Builders from hell- Stay well away *** Robbed me of 70K left my house in a totally destroyed state and an open roof. Used constant threats to extort money. The little work that was carried out, no building control approval was sought and work done was substandard and had to be redone. Left the work once I informed building control and declined to return back, comply with inspection, rectify the work or provide any refund despite providing a work evaluation by an independent quantity surveyor.

Hi, I'm Gary Korab, and I'm a fully trained carpenter/joiner, and locksmith, with 25 years experience. I have completed the level 3 Advanced Modern Apprenticeship at college, along with the City & Guilds awards and many other certificates. I do still work in the carpentry and joinery trade, but I'm slowly merging my business to focus just on the locksmithing trade, and emergency boarding services. This includes fixing windows, doors, etc. Upvc, steel, and timber are all included. Breaking locks, lock replacement or repair, mechanism replacement or repair, handle replacement or repair, espagnolette replacement or repair, and adjusting window openers and doors that don't open well anymore, or not at all. Most of the time the window or door will just need adjusting, and I also offer a full service as well, which keeps your windows and doors working well for longer. Emergency boarding includes windows that have been damaged, or the glass smashed/missing, and doors that have been damaged, or the glass smashed/missing. So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. I would give 0 stars if possible. Eugen seemed like a nice guy and we trusted him. He was building us a standard single bed over a stair box. He started in July, it is now mid-November and after numerous messages and calls to him, he has finally replied months later, saying he won't be coming. Not only has he left it looking bad and unfinished, he has built it too small so the standard single mattress we have bought won't even fit on. We also paid him most of the total payment. DO NOT pay him until done.

We manufacture and fit certified fire-doors full time. Hi I’m Matthew, I work at a fire door firm, any work I can bring in for myself or the firm is ideal. With new door installs we aim to survey, manufacture & fit within 2 weeks, (door number dependant). Tools & vans & labour is a given. We take on and firedoor works (remedials & new installs) , and any related fire works I.e. firestopping and fire rated partitions / ceilings. We work to a high standard given that fire-doors have strict tolerances and product specifications. We only use the correct products (mastic & A1 / firebatt and blue 60 foam where allowed) and fire-rated ironmongery. We include a report with our works which includes before, during and after photos with any comments / suggestions relating to fire safety. Work in mostly with contracts on care homes and student accommodation, tidiness and quality work is guaranteed - always willing to go back. Working with contracts, there can be breaks in-between phases of works smaller jobs are perfect as well! My teams is respectful, with tons of experience and willing to go the extra mile for tenants/ landlords clients all the same. Years of experiences in the firm - personally been on firedoors full time for 4 years.
