Very fast response. Fixed one of the problems but tried to get away with a lousy job for the other. When I said it was not acceptable, he changed the switch but didn’t do it correctly. As a result it kind of works but not as it should. I asked him to come and fixed it. He said he was going on holidays. I contacted him a few weeks later and he never replied. AVOID HIM. Not worth it.

I am a an electrician with over 17 years experience. I specialise in domestic, commercial and industrial work, ranging from smaller jobs such as new sockets and lights, to bigger projects such as rewires and fit outs. I completed a City and Guilds apprenticeship when I first started in 2008. I am an inspector and tester so can faultfind, rectify and commission electrical systems.
Sadly we arranged a day, no show, no contact nothing. I left a message (just one) asking to let me know if he was still coming. No response. Next day I received a message very early, no explanation, no apology! It wasn’t convenient for the job to be done the following day. Having discussed this in initial contact. Communication is key and when there is none confidence in the person goes. I was worried about the distance but was assured that it wasn’t an issue! Very disappointing experience.?

Mark came out to look at the job and provided me with a reasonable quotation unlike DPW Electrical who just asked for details over the phone, I'm not sure how you can give a definitive quote like that! I was happy to employ Adam Bardsley of A.R.B. Electrical Solutions after speaking to him on the phone and I was not disappointed. He replaced the broken light at the front door and suggested an alternative light for the rear (which I had never considered) and even replaced a couple of sockets. He was extremely pleasant and, although the jobs were relatively small, he did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to have him back or recommend him to anyone else.
